A very good start to the season with a win against Bedfordshire at Heythrop Park on 27th May. We took the foursomes 3½-½ in the morning and with just one loss in the afternoon - and that on the 18th - we secured a 10½-1½ win. With the potential of 'game points' coming into play at the end of the season, if the League is tied, this result may stand us in good stead. Meanwhile our apologies to Bedfordshire for the unbelievable time it took to play. This was beyond our control and we had been promised that we would not be held up morning and afternoon, which turned out not to be the case.
