A real shame that the weather got the better of us at Goring & Streatley on Friday 24th July. Having curtailed last year's event at the same venue due to Thunder and Lightning, now we just had torrential rain. Our plan to get 9 holes in a least, worked well for the first 2 hours, but we finally had to give up hope when all the greens got flooded and visibility at the top of the hill made play dangerous. On to The Berkshire on Sunday. Let's hope for a nice day.
