Gary Mumford (Woburn) was the runaway winner of the Penfold Trophy after a steady morning round of level par, he played superbly in the afternoon and returned a 5 under par 66 to finish 5 clear of clubmate George Wilson who finished level par for the day. 23 players gain entry into the Amateur Championship at East Berkshire next week and there are another 8 reserves.
