With nearly a full days rain before the match date it was touch and go if it went ahead but the Red course held up remarkable well giving both teams an opportunity to show their skills. Frilford took the morning singles by a margin of 3-1 proving once again that they are formidible opposition. The sun actually broke through for a couple of hours in the middle of the day making for some pleasant conditions but gave in to more heavy rain by mid afternoon, The county side rallied in the afternoon to produce an overall 6-6 draw. Frilford proved once again to be great hosts as well as tough opposition.
