On a wet and windy day more reminiscent of a winters day the BBO hosted a strong Essex side at Heythrop Park. The morning session got the best of the weather and the BBO side got the best of their opponents but only by narrow margins in each game giving them the foursomes and morning lead by 3 to 1. The side prepared themselves for a strong come back from the Essex side but playing some great golf the team won the first 5 singles straight down the order securing an early win in the afternoon and on taking 1 1/2 point from the last three games gave a resounding win 9 1/2 to 2 1/2.
