BB&O Order of Merits
BB&O Golf support a number of club opens within Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire. Points are awarded to the players from a BB&O club who finish inside the top 10 on the gross results. Each event is weighted by the number of holes played for example if the event is 18 holes, the players would receive 50% of the points compared to 100% for a 36 hole event. BB&O Golf run two Order of Merits, Juniors (Boys) & Mens.
New for 2024, BB&O will also support a Junior Handicap Order of Merit. The events between the Junior Scratch & Junior Handicap Order of Merits can differ.
At each event, BB&O will supply the club with a voucher which is awarded to the best placed golfer from a BB&O club. A BB&O representative will be present at the event and a banner will be placed on the first tee. BB&O will also promote the Order of Merit events on their website and social media. At the final Order of Merit event, the winner will have accumulated more points than anyone and will be presented with a trophy and voucher.
As the interest for clubs to be included in the Order of Merit is growing, we have introduced an application process. Please find below the applicaiton form.
In order for an event to be included in the Scratch Order of Merit they must meet the following criteria:
- The main prize must be scratch.
- The event must be medal.
- They must be a minimum of 18 holes.
- They must have an online sign up.
In order for an event to be included in the Junior Handicap Order of Merit they must meet the following criteria:
- The main prize must be handicap
- The event must be medal or stableford.
- They must be a minimum of 18 holes.
- They must have an online sign up.
- The main prize must be handicap

The deadline to submit an applicaiton is
Friday 6th December.
BB&O will launch the Order of Merits at the same time as the BB&O Events in January.
