A good win at Dunstable Downs from a very inexperienced side. We had 2 new caps in Chris Aubrey (Caversham Heath) and James Foster (Newbury & Crookham) and only Ashley Walton and Malcolm Reid had been awarded their 'colours' for 5 appearances. We took the foursomes 3-1 and with 6 of the singles going to the 17th or 18th it was a close run thing but we came out winning 8-4. With Hertfordshire beating Essex 8-4 we will need a very big win against Middlesex to win the League.
