A disappointing end to the League season with the narrowest of defeats to Hertfordshire on 30th July. Needing a drawn match to win the League we fell frustratingly short by just ½ a point. We were hoping for something from the first four games but got nothing. With the first three Hertfordshire players being very strong it strengthens the remainder of the team below them. Even so we did get four and a half out of the last six, but without at least a half from the first four games we didn't quite get there.
