The hottest day of the year was matched by a BBO team looking for a second win from two to position them with a good chance of winning the League. Event clashes meant that both teams struggled to get regular players out but the depth of BBO talent meant that a strong side could still be fielded. Getting an away result is never easy but the team were very determined and opened up with a great 4-0 lead from the foursomes and followed in the same vein in the afternoon to run out convincing winners 11 1/2 to 1/2. Many thanks to late callups, Chris Little and Dean Newbold both picking up full points.
